Visits and special events
Arabic Students will be learning about language accuracy using verbal and nominal sentences. KSS Students will be developing mapping and atlas reading skills, locating Kuwait and other GCC Countries. Islamic Students will be learning about The Brotherhood between immigrants and helpers- Al Muhajiruun and Al-Ansar. French Students will be learning vocabulary for family members and learning the ‘etre’ and ‘avoir’ verbs. Reading Book-Watership Down by Richard Adams Exploring the reading of novels written by significant authors. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify character thoughts, feelings and actions. Writing Students will be planning and writing narrative poems using the theme of ‘animals.’ Students will focus on how to use the correct features of poetry and include these in poems written about animals. Maths Students will be focusing on long and short division methods. Student will complete Number Problem Solving investigations. Students will use My Maths online learning platform: Visits and special events 5 Orange Class Assembly: 3rd December Year 5 Trip- Bait AlOthman Museum: 5th December Inter-Class Sports Day: 11th December End of Term: 20th December Year 5 Monthly Overview December 2018 Art Students are going to investigate patterns and colour through the style of Pop Art. ICT Students will develop document presentation skills exploring the Microsoft Word tool kit and writing features. Science Students will be studying about the main features of and life cycle of amphibians. Music Students will be exploring note values and rhythm through African drumming. PE Students will be participating in team games, developing special awareness.

العربى سيتعلم الطلاب الدقة اللغوية بإستخدام الجمل الاسمية و الفعلية . KSS يطور الطلاب مهارة قراءة الخرائط و الأطلس و تحديد موقع الكويت و دول الخليج التربية الإسلامة سيتعلم الطلاب عن المؤاخاة بين المهاجرين و الانصار فرنسى سيتعلم الطلاب مفرادات عن افراد العائلة و الافعال être / avoir القراءة للمؤلف ريتشارد Water ship قصة ادمز ،قراءة و استكشاف قصص لاهم المؤلفين . القراءة الموجهة – يطور الطلاب مهارة القراءة من خلال التعرف على الشخصيات ،الأفكار ،المشاعر ،و الأحداث الكتابة إعداد و كتابة القصائد السردية موضوعها عن الحيوانات . التركيز على كيفية إستخدام البناء الصحيح للقصائد و إستخدامها على موضوع الحيوانات . الرياضيات التركيز على طرق القسمة الطويلة و القصيرة . استكمال حل المسائل الارقام . إستخدام موقع الإنترنت الخاص بالرياضيات : الزيارات و الاحداث الخاصة مسرحية الصف الخامس (برتقالى ): 3 ديسمبر رحلة الصف الخامس إلى بيت العثمان : 5 ديسمبر اليوم الرياضى (ما بين الفصول):11 ديسمبر نهاية التيرم:20 ديسمبر الخطة الشهرية للصف الخامس ديسمبر الرسم إستكشاف انماط و الوان الفن الشعبى .. الكمبيوتر يقوم الطلاب بعمل ملفات ميكروسوفت وورد و يتعرفون على ادوات البرنامج من خلال الكتابة عليه. الموسيقى التعرف إلى مفردات النوته الموسيقية و الإيقاع من خلال الطبل الإفريقى العلوم سيتعلم الطلاب عن الخصائص الرئيسية لدورة حياة البرمائيات. التربية البدنية يشارك الطلاب فى العاب جماعية تنمى لديهم روح الفريق .

Visits and special events
Arabic Students will learning about the selection of objectives of the topic of subject matters. Islamic Students will be learning about purification- Taharah. Students will discuss purity in all major parts of a Muslim’s life. KSS Students will be learning about Kuwait and other GCC Countries now and in the past. . French Students will be learning about the alphabet and vocabulary for school objects and numbers. Science Students will be learning about how different components in an electrical circuit work. Music Students will be exploring rhythm and staff notation of sounds. Writing Students will be learning and writing about the difference between biography and autobiography. Students will focus on how to write extended sentences using a range of time connectives and writing paragraphs in chronological order. PE Students will be participating in team games, developing special awareness. Reading Book-The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward. Exploring the reading of narrative stories with flashbacks. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify character thoughts, feelings and actions. The Wolf’s Story Art Students will develop painting skills in the form of ‘impressionism’, as the works of Claude Monet , Henri Matisse and Paul Cezanne. Maths Students will be focusing on long and short division methods. Student will complete Number Problem Solving investigations. Students will use My Maths online learning platform: Year 6 Monthly Overview December 2018 ICT Students will develop document presentation skills exploring the Microsoft Word tool kit and writing features. سيتعلم الطلاب إستخراج المغزى من المواضيع المطروحة التربية الإسلامية سيتعلم الطلاب عن الطهارة و اهميتها فى حياة المسلم KSS سيتعلم الطلاب عن الكويت و دول الخليج فى الماضى و الحاضر . فرنسى سيتعلم الطلاب الابجدية و مفردات عن الادوات المدرسية و الارقام العلوم سيتعلم الطلاب عن المكونات المختلفة للدائرة الكهربائية . الموسيقى إكتشاف الإيقاع و وظيفة الاصوات . الكتابة سيتعلم الطلاب الفرق ما بين السيرة الذاتية و السيرة الشخصية التركيز على كتابة الجمل الطويلة بأستخدام الروابط الزمنية و كتابة فقرات متسلسلة زمنيا . التربية البدنية يشارك الطلاب فى العاب جماعية تنمى روح الفريق لديهم القراءة قصة الذئب للمؤلف توبى فوروارد .التعرف من خلال القراءة على الاساليب الروائية و العودة إلى الوراء القراءة الموجهة – تنمية مهارة القراءة من خلال التعرف على الشخصيات ، الافكار ، المشاعر و الاحداث.
