لأني لا أجد قيمة لحياتي إلا في إلتصاقي بك ... هل تقبل أن تقول عني ... كما قلت عن الحمار: الرب محتاج اليه ؟!!! Oh my Lord how much I desired to be a donkey or a donkey’s colt So as You would ride me... For I find my life useless unless I stick to You... Would you accept saying about me ... same as when You said about the donkey: The Lord has need of him?!!!

على الأقل سيقف فكري عن الجولان والفوران ويهدأ قلبي من العواصف والأعاصير At least my mind would stop rolling and erupting and my restless heart would calm down from the storms and outbursts

من إتضاعك يا الهي ... لم تفصل الجحش عن امه الأتان ومن رحمتك… كنت تُريح الحيوان وأنا يارب أرجوك إقبلني ... إرحمني .... ريح قلبي Out of Your humbleness my Lord ... You did not separate the colt from his mother the donkey And out of Your mercy…You gave the animal rest ... and me my Lord, I plead You to accept me, have mercy on me, and give rest to my heart

يا من قبلت صرخات الأطفال المُفرحة .... اوصنا
يا من جعلت تسبيحك من أفواه الرضعان ... إقبل كلماتي الضعيفة العاجزة ... وإحسبني من هؤلاء الصارخين ... ليلاً ونهاراً You who have accepted the screams of the happy kids .... Hosanna You who have perfected praise out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants ... please accept my weak helpless words ... and count me in with those who are crying out to You ... all day and night

يارب دعني أرى عِظَم إهتمامك بي ... ولا أرى زحام الناس…
والثياب المطروحة على الأرض ... وسعف النخل… My Lord let me see Your utmost care of me ... and make me disregard the people’s crowd… And the garments placed on the ground ... and the branches of the palm trees
