Visits and special events Arabic Students will be learning about language accuracy using verbal and nominal sentences. KSS Students will be developing mapping and atlas reading skills, locating Kuwait and other GCC Countries. Islamic Students will be learning about The Brotherhood between immigrants and helpers- Al Muhajiruun and Al-Ansar. French Students will be learning vocabulary for family members and learning the ‘etre’ and ‘avoir’ verbs. Reading Book-Watership Down by Richard Adams Exploring the reading of novels written by significant authors. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify character thoughts, feelings and actions. Writing Students will be planning and writing narrative poems using the theme of ‘animals.’ Students will focus on how to use the correct features of poetry and include these in poems written about animals. Maths Students will be focusing on long and short division methods. Student will complete Number Problem Solving investigations. Science Students will be studying about the main features of and life cycle of amphibians. Music Students will be exploring note values and rhythm through African drumming. PE Students will be participating in team games, developing special awareness.

Visits and special events Arabic Students will learning about the selection of objectives of the topic of subject matters. Islamic Students will be learning about purification- Taharah. Students will discuss purity in all major parts of a Muslim’s life. KSS Students will be learning about Kuwait and other GCC Countries now and in the past. . French Students will be learning about the alphabet and vocabulary for school objects and numbers. Science Students will be learning about how different components in an electrical circuit work. Music Students will be exploring rhythm and staff notation of sounds. Writing Students will be learning and writing about the difference between biography and autobiography. Students will focus on how to write extended sentences using a range of time connectives and writing paragraphs in chronological order. PE Students will be participating in team games, developing special awareness. Reading Book-The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward. Exploring the reading of narrative stories with flashbacks. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify character thoughts, feelings and actions.
